Episode #20. Early Spring Wonders & Finding Hope in Uncertain Times

Even in the midst of fear & uncertainty, we all have the capacity to empower ourselves to find hope. As we all grapple with the impacts of the Coronavirus, it becomes even more important & helpful to nurture our ability to appreciate simple daily wonders. It’s early Spring on the West Coast of North America, and new green buds and colorful blossoms are emerging. Click the VIDEO below & WATCH this week's inspiring film.

As we walk through our local neighborhood, we appreciate the countless incredible miracles of nature. Spring's arrival is inspiring hope in life and wonder of nature... Green buds are beginning to emerge at the tips of trees. The bright fresh green of the willow trees show that Spring has arrived and that warmer days are ahead.

Everywhere, cherry trees are beginning to blossom. Appreciating the beauty of these wondrous pink blossoms is a welcomed joy.

Spring bulbs are emerging from the soil, and gifting the world with their gorgeous spring colors and flowers.

We feel fortunate to have a beautiful star magnolia blooming in our backyard. The simple white petals of the star magnolia blooms dance in the breeze. The sweet fragrance of these flowers promise all the hopes of Spring. As we gaze and admire these flowers, we feel ourselves feeling happier and happier. It is fun to feel wonder!

Plants with new spring blooms inspire wonder. While we do not know the names of all the plants that we appreciate on our early spring walks, our appreciation and wonderment for this flora abounds. Remember, you don’t have to know the name of something, to appreciate it’s beauty. No wonder is too simple or mysterious to appreciate if it inspired you to feel wonder.

Our dogs are enjoying their everyday exercise walks. They seem to appreciate the spring wonders too. We may have no income right now, though being together as a family seems to make everything all right. Our combined health and happiness is what matters most. Together, we support each other in finding joy and wonder. Our dogs remind us to live in the moment and enjoy life. We are so grateful for their loyal puppy love and companionship.

As you find yourself at home day after day, during this Coronavirus stay at home era, remember that reasons for happiness and wonder still abound to be appreciated. If it is safe for you to go for an exercise walk in the fresh air of the outdoors, enjoy your walk as an opportunity to appreciate "wonderments". No wonderment is too small to appreciate if it made you take notice.

---> If perhaps, you must remain indoors, in your home, you can still find and appreciate wonders from inside your home…whether it’s appreciating the things that bring you joy in your home or perhaps things you can appreciate outside from the safety of your indoor environment.

Together, let’s all remember to,

~ Take a big deep breath.

~ Find something to appreciate.

~ Have faith that life will be ok.

~ Embrace this forced to stay home experience as a gifted opportunity.

~ Remember our choices to be safe, helps others be safe too.

~ We are all loved.

~ "Wonderments" abound to be appreciated.

~ Happiness is ours to experience right now.

~ Stay home and share hope.

We don’t know how everything is going to work out and we personally have no income right now, though we have hope & health. It would be easy to count up all the things that are going badly, though that would only bring us pain, stress, and likely ill health. By focusing on appreciating ALL the wonders that do fill our lives, we let ourselves have hope, excitement for the future, faith in the miraculous workings of life, and joy in the moment. By counting our blessings, we allow ourselves to be happy. And isn't that what we all want to be? Happy!

It is important that EVERYONE practice physical distancing right now. Physical distancing does not mean social isolation. Now, more than ever before, we have technology that makes it easy to talk and even see our loved ones & friends. Reaching out to each other to share our love, friendship & kindness with each other is so meaningful.

We hope our inspiring videos can bring you a bit of joy & beauty in this uncertain time. Cheers to appreciating Spring flowers & "wonderments" from home or on an exercise walk... while keeping your physical distance from others.

It's early Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, and new life is emerging everywhere if we open our eyes, minds & hearts to see the wonders!
